A costume rendering for Balthasar, the minstrel from William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing"

This was a theoretical design for a class, in this case, set in 1760s America, post-French and Indian War but pre-Revolutionary. Balthasar is the minstrel but I decided to make him an average member of this frontier town. He has no instrument because I thought it a bit more appropriate for someone living on the frontier to not have one.

The croakies (body figures) were provided by Jack Smith.
